Wondering What To Do About Electronic Journals?
A Continuing Education session for the afternoon preceding the WMLA/OSHLA Joint Meeting
| Date | April 5, 2001 |
| Time | 1pm-5pm |
| Place | Southwest Washington Medical Center, Auditorium B, Vancouver, WA |
If you've wanted to add full-text journals to your collection - or if you've already added them but want to expand or change your services - join us to hear from your colleagues and discuss your questions.
The afternoon will include:
- An overview of fundamentals from a vendor representative.
- A summary of statewide group purchase options in Washington and Oregon.
- A panel discussion, "Views from the Trenches," featuring hospital and academic librarians.
- An introduction to NLM's upcoming LinkOut facility that all health libraries with ejournals will be able to use to provide direct links from PubMed to the full text of articles from their collections.
The fee for this CE session is included in your registration for the WMLA/OSHLA Joint Meeting 2001.
